A little snippet from a beautiful Devon wedding at Bovey Castle
France and Daniel’s intimate wedding took place in one of the most stunning Devon wedding venues set in the heart of the shire.
Bovey Castle is located in Dartmoor National Park, surrounded by acres of fields and stunning greenery. A fabulous 5* hotel offered the Couple and their guests the opportunity to have their ceremony in one of the beautifully decorated rooms. They then were invited to a Library room for their refreshments and drinks. The guests cheered the happy newlyweds in a great atmoshpere. After these, we all went outside to make the most of the glorious surroundings and capture some great photos.
The wedding ceremony was in late afternoon and it happened to be a cold, windy and dark March Saturday, so we needed to move swiftly. The guests were all super brave to brace the strong wind and all gave me beautiful smiles when they were posing for their group shots. France, Daniel and I were then taken on one of the cool golf buggies and driven around the hotel, to capture some romantic couple shots.
The wedding breakfast
The bride chose to have the room decorated with 'lace & hessian’, giving the room a stylish and timeless look. All the details played beautifully together, with blush pink and whites prevailing in the decor.
It was a truly great and warm atmosphere throughout the day and I was totally honoured to be a part of it
