A colourful photo shoot by Exeter Newborn Photographer
After all the cold weather, the 2 crazy spells of snowy winter there finally came time to welcome spring. It is so nice to walk into shops and see lots of pastel and bright colours in all their departnements. All the clothing, homeware, etc suddenly all got all more colourful and cheerful.
It shouldn’t surprise anyone that I was anxious to introduce a warm spring feel into my photo shoots. And Olivia’s photo shoot seemed like a perfect opportunity.
„We’re open to your suggestions and happy to follow your lead”….
Said mum and dad when asked about their ideas and expectations for the photo shoot. Since they trusted my judgment and I was all in a springy mood this is the effect 🙂
Lots of pink, mint and yellow – colours that make any little girl look even cuter. Before the photo shoot I ordered a hand made gorgeous crochet blanket to accentuate the spring theme 🙂 I almost squeeked when I opened the packaging when it arrived. I couldn’t wait to use it. I imagined what it would look like in use but I must say the final effect exceeded my expectations 🙂
A very meaningful prop
This tiny felt camera gently squeezed by these cute hands is not accidental here. Olivia’s daddy is a keen photographer and I wanted to surprise him with this little prop. I made it myself and again I was super pleased to see how cute it looked in Olivia’s hands 🙂 I am sure daddy will teach her how to operate a real one, but it is never too early to plant the idea 🙂
Flowers, bows, meadow and colour splash
If I had to summarise the feel of this photo shoot it would be in these exact words – check out the gallery and tell me if you agree 🙂
