Jessica and Martin’s autumn wedding

If you think that autumn wedding seems like a dull and cold option, then you need to read and see this. You possibly can’t be more wrong 🙂

So far in my wedding photography role I have been ever so lucky to work with such lovely brides and grooms. Jess and Martin were no exception. They and their families were ever so welcoming and warm. Above all, their wedding day was really relaxed and all about them. They did not stress out about the weather, about any unimportant details – all they seemed to be preoccupied with was to make sure their LOVE was the main theme of the day and that everyone, including me, felt happy and pleased. What is more, I didn’t feel like I was just doing my job there; I felt like one of the guests and truly felt like I was a part of this great celebration. Thank you for that 🙂

Jess and the bridal party spent some great time preparing for their wedding in Southgate Hotel in Exeter while the groom and his party were getting themseves ready in Honiton at groom’s dad’s house.  Their private and very intimate ceremony took place in a small yet beautiful Lady Margaret’s Medieval Hall (www.ladymargarets.co.uk) in Honiton. They were joined by a small group of closest friends and family who made the wedding ceremony truly special.

They were then joined by their family and friends for their reception at Mill on the Exe in Exeter. The crackling logs in the fire, great music fantastic food and amazing guests yet again made a great wedding celebration.
