Capturing not just images, but memories and emotions
This time I will start from the back, namely the feedback that I got from Anna after her photo shoot.
When Anna came to view her gallery presentation she could barely hold her tears. Well, between us – she couldn’t hold them at all. She was sobbing, but her eyes were smiling and she kept saying how shocked and happy she was. She then messaged me again saying: „These are not just images. These are memories that are going to stay in our hearts forever. I am so so touched”.
Waiting for a little girl
Anna contacted me a few weeks before the photo shoot to tell me that she is expecting her third child. She already has two older boys and this time it’s all turning pink 🙂 How exciting, isn’t it? Anna had some ideas how she wanted her photo shoot to look but she also trusted me to choose the location, outfits and lead her through her maternity photo shoot. We stayed in contact throughout the process, I wa sthere to answer any questions and support with the preparation.
On the day of the photo shoot
We met in a stunning location in Exeter, in the early afternoon. Anna and her family were all absolutely amazing to work with – happy, open to ideas and just fun to photograph. Anna was keen to jump in and out of the gowns that I brought for her and in this way we created a beautiful versatile gallery.
When this little baby girl arrives and later on when she is a big girl, she will surely be thrilled to see how it was just before she arrived. That her mummy was glowing, that her daddy was there to support mum when she needed someone to lean on and that her brothers talked to mummy’s tummy. I saw that all and I was happy to capture some of these moments for this family.
