Congratulations!
If you are here it means you have taken step 1 to booking a shoot with me 🙂 You found me and if you have had a look around the work I do and you think my style appeals to you, keep reading.
Step 1. Research.
Check around who is offering what. Check the portfolio, reviews, pricing and everything else that matters to you when it comes to booking a shoot. I may be the phographer for you, but there may as well be others better suited to meet your needs.
Step 2. Chat to family
Talk to your partner to make sure you both like the photographer you have chosen for your family. It is really important as you are choosing who you will trust your baby and family memories to.
Step 3. Contact me.
If you have decided to work with me, please check my pricing here to make sure you are happy. Let me have your email address so that I can forward some useful information as well as a contract (Ts & Cs) to you to read and accept prior to booking.
Step 4. Pay session fee to secure a spot in my diary
Although your booking is super flexible, you need to let me know in advance if you wish me to put you in the diary. I am unable to hold bookings or provisional dates without session fee payment so please make sure you make the payment promptly.
Step 5. Telephone consultation
This is where the fun starts as we will start discussing the colours, props, poses and ideas for your shoot. You can start creating your mood boards and lists of favourite images as soon as you have booked a space with me.
- Start thinking of where your images will be displayed at your home.
- Which walls you wish to decorate and what sort of wall art will look great there. A frame, an acrylic print or canvas?
- What colours / style you have at home
- What style / theme / colours are in your baby’s nursery
- What colours / set ups / props / themes you wish me to prepare
Step 6. Photo shoot
It is usually done in the first 2 weeks of baby’s life. We book the actual time and date ONCE baby arrives to make sure all family members can attend (siblings and parents) and we are still within the best window for shooting.
Step 7. Viewing appointment
This is usually done around 2 – 3 weeks after the shoot. This is done in person in my studio where you will be presented with a clip with edited images and will choose and pay for your package. This is also the meeting when all wall art pieces (canvases, frames etc) are ordered and paid for. I accept cash and bank transfers. Card payments are temporalily unavailable.
You will also receive your USB at this meeting.
Step 8. Pick up of your prints
Within a week of your meeting you will be invited to collect your prints.
Step 9. (Hopefully) satisfaction
I hope at this point you will kindly share a few good words about you experience on my Google page 🙂 I always aim to deliver 5* experience for you and I hope to make that happen 🙂
Any questions, always feel free to contact me.
