Fun and Laughter, that’s what family photo shoot is all about
I think you know me a little bit by now so you know how much I adore working with beautiful happy families. I love spending time with them, seeing how they interact, play and generally have so much fun together. It is even nicer when all this happens in a location that my clients like, feel happy and relaxed in and that reflects their personalities. Some like beach, other opt for a more urban modern location, whereas others are happy to escape to a distance Dartmoor location to get a bit of privacy.
It is beach baby!
2018 summer is surely one to remember. Since I came to the UK in 2005, I don’t remember so much sunshine and dry spells in a row. I remember occasional hot days, but surely not weeks. What an amazing treat. I absolutely love the fact that we have so many beaches to choose from when the temperature rises above 20 degrees.
My lovely clients, Snezana and her family, chose to meet at Dawlish Warren beach to have their photo shoot. We spent some time wandering around to find some quiet spaces to have their family portraits taken and then we moved on to the beach. The kids (and adults and dog alike) loved splashing the surprisingly warm water. I think everyone forgot that they were having their photos taken and simply got carried away by the fun that they were having. Clothing was soaked, covered in wet sand and possibly not wearable for the rest of the day but the smiles on their faces were priceless.
