Thank you for booking your Christmas photo shoot with me.
I look forward to meeting you and your family and creating some unforgettable memories for you. I will do my best to make you feel happy and comfortable and look your happiest and best in the images.
In order to make the day and our photo shoot go smoothly and create images that you love I have prepared a few guidelines to help you prepare and know what to expect on the day and after your photo shoot.
What to wear?
- Studio
- This is a Christmas (winter) photo shoot so please choose outfits that correspond with the theme. The white mantelpiece set up is quite an elegant and classy one so to make the image a cohesive and appealing one the best outfits would be:
- grey, silver, golden, navy blue, deep green, beige, grey. Festive and elegant outfits would probably work best. Please avoid using tops with logos or prints as they do not always look great in such a 'busy’ set up. If unsure please speak to me and I will offer advice which outfits would work best.

- Location
- We will be going to the woods and shooting your images in a area with real Christmas trees. I will bring some Christmas props and I would like to ask that you wear clothing that again fits the Christmas / winter theme such as
- checked, woolen tops or cardigans
- wooly hats, scarves, mittens
- boots
- Christmas hats to add a festive feel
- green, red, blue, silver, gold or any other subdued tones will look great.
- We will be going to the woods and shooting your images in a area with real Christmas trees. I will bring some Christmas props and I would like to ask that you wear clothing that again fits the Christmas / winter theme such as
- PLEASE make sure that your family oufits are coordinated, meaning in the same colour pallette. Avoid wearing the same patterns, choose ones that compliment each other. If unsure about your choices, please message me and I will be happy to advise.
- PINTEREST is a great place to get some ideas for family outfit ideas. Try searching for 'Christmas family photo shoot’, 'christmas family photo shoot outfits’, etc.
Where will we meet?
Studio photo shoots are done in my home studio at 17 John Levers Way EX4 1ED.
For the outdoors family photo shoot please meet me outside Ridge Cafe in Haldon Forrest ( Haldon Forest Park, Bullers Hill, Kennford, Exeter EX6 7XR) on 17th November at the time your booking is set for. Please note I have bookings every 30 minutes so any lateness will mean you and I having less time to work.
Please note there is a £4 fee to park there.
What else do we need to bring?
If there are any particular Christmas items that you feel would complient your Christmas photo shoot, please feel free to bring it along. I will bring some items to get a nice festive look so don’t worry too much about props. Christmas hats are very welcome however you would need to bring your own (for hygiene reasons I do not provide these).
Please bring outstanding cash (£79 for early bird or returning customers or £89 for anyone else)
What happens after the photo shoot?
Withing a week of your photo shoot you will receive a link to your private gallery of edited images. This will be sent to you via my business Facebook page.
I will do my best to provide a nice selection so that you can choose the ones you love most, at least 10 images per client.
Standard package includes 5 high resolution high quality images to download. You are welcome to purchase additional files at £25 per digital image or a set of 5 additional files for £50.
Once you have selected your favourites and have paid any outstanding balance, you will be sent a link to download your images. Please keep them safe and backed up.
