Newborn photography is not just another branch of photography where you need to be expert in camera, light and postproduction. This is possibly one of the most responsible and unique areas that any photographer can choose to work in.

When I think of each of the newborn photo shoots that I have done so far, I don’t think of the images I created. I mainly remember the babies that I got to cuddle, the lovely parents that I got to meet, their stories that they shared with me, as well as their plans and dreams that they talked about. I remember the tenderness of mum cuddling her tiny baby, the panic of a caring dad when baby squeaked or the tears of joy when they returned to view their galleries.

There is so much truth in this song, which happens to be one of my favourite ones.

Life can sometimes be cruel and it can hurt but we can choose to remember only the best and happiest moments. We can choose to make people live in our memories, to have our hearts filled with love and only remember the happiest moments of our lives.

It’s the photographs that can wrap our memories in happiness. We can choose to freeze the moments that are worth remembering and forget what wasn’t worth remembering.

A Family Photo Shoot to remember

If you have ever contacted me to book a family photo shoot you know that I have never said yes to a request for a studio one. Not because I can’t take them.

Because I know how awkward it can be to be standing still, looking at the camera waiting for the shutter to go so that you can relax and start being yourself

Each photo shoot with me is exactly about being who you truly are in a place where you feel happiest. If you look through my gallery (especially blog) you will soon realise that there no two same photo shoots that I ever did. Every family is different hence I spend lots of time with the family carefully planning the location, outfits and general style of their photo shoot.

You don’t need to worry about me being in your face or telling you to pose awkwardly. I will offer my professional guidance in bringing up the best you have as a family, but will never force you to do something that I THINK would work for you. We will be working as a team and I promise, you will soon forget we are shooting.

My aim is to create the best memories for you and your family. You will be laughing, cuddling, kissing, fooling around and my job will be simply not to spoil it.

Each family or children photo shoot includes a consultation, travel within 10 miles of EX4 (additional charges apply for further distances), an in person viewing and ordering meeting. And obviously – lots of fun, fun, fun.
